One of the aides of the Senate President,Bukola Saraki in person of Arthur Ndiwe said that the office of the Senate president earlier this year conducted a staff audit to reduce the number of aides which was about 300.
He disclosed that 98 out of the 300 aides have been sacked which include Folashade Adigun, Saraki's director of protocol.
“I am not aware of any sack. I am still at work,” he said and at the moment there's no official statement from the camo of the Senate President to address the news.
Reports made it clear that there are about 4,600 aides at the national assembly.
