[SPORT NEWS]Manchester United Possible Lineup vs Hull City: Star Players Return in 4-3-3

Manchester United continue to roll, as they won their eighth straight game this weekend with their 4-0 victory over Reading. They will look to keep that momentum going when they host Hull City in leg one of the League Cup semifinal on Tuesday.
GK- David de Gea

Romero got a chance to play in the FA Cup this weekend, but de Gea is still clearly the number one goalkeeper for Manchester United, and Mourinho will likely go back to him for this Cup semifinal.

LB- Luke Shaw

I thought Shaw had a chance to return for the FA Cup game against Reading, but he was not in the squad. I think he will finally come back to the lineup on Tuesday in what would be his first appearance since November 30th.

CB- Chris Smalling and Phil Jones

Rojo picked up a bit of an injury in the game against Reading over the weekend, and it appears that he may not be healthy in time for the game against Hull City. This would mean that Chris Smalling and Phil Jones would likely be the center back pairing on Tuesday, as there are not a lot of other reliable options for Jose Mourinho at center back.

RB- Antonio Valencia

Valencia was given the game off over the weekend, but Jose Mourinho has said that he will return to the lineup for Tuesday’s game against Hull City. This is not too surprising since Valencia is clearly Mourinho’s preferred option to start at right back.

CM- Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera, and Paul Pogba

Mourinho has stated that he wants to start both Herrera and Pogba in the game against Hull City, and again this is no surprise since these are two of Manchester United’s best players. Carrick did play on Saturday, but he was not asked to play a full 90 minutes, so hopefully he is fresh enough to play again on Tuesday without much issue.

AML- Anthony Martial

Martial has scored in two games in a row, and I think that Mourinho needs to reward his good form with more appearances. If Martial can finally get a consistent run of games, I think he will be able to turn his season around and establish himself as the top option for Jose Mourinho at this position.

AMR- Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Mkhitaryan was given the game off against Reading, so he should be fresh for this League Cup matchup. He has been in fantastic form of late, so I would be very surprised if Mourinho does not put him back in the lineup.

ST- Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Mourinho said that Zlatan will be back in the starting lineup for this game along with Herrera, Pogba, and Valencia. Marcus Rashford played well against Reading, but obviously Zlatan is still going to get the far majority of the playing time at forward for this team.
