[SPORT NEWS]Danny Welbeck’s Arsenal return: This is when Gunners star is eyeing comeback appearance

The Gunners travel to Deepdale on Saturday (5.30pm) for their third round clash.
Arsene Wenger is expected to make a number of changes to his side following Arsenal’s busy run over Christmas and the new year.
A number of star players are likely to be best rested against their Championship opponents.
And according to the Daily Mail, Welbeck is being targeted for a comeback in the cup clash.

The England international has been sidelined since the end of last season with a knee injury, but is now back in full training.
Wenger won’t want to reintroduce the 26-year-old too soon and risk a setback.
But Welbeck has been building up his fitness and could feature at Preston.
Having not made a first-team appearance since May, the Arsenal forward is likely to start from the bench if named in the squad rather than being thrown straight into the first XI.
Welbeck’s return will be a big boost to the side following their 3-3 draw at Bournemouth on Tuesday.
And with Arsenal’s next Premier League game not until January 14, away at Swansea, Welbeck could also feature there if he continues to progress well.
The Gunners next play at the Emirates on January 22 against Burnley, and the ex-Manchester United striker may be in contention to start by then.
