[SPORT NEWS]Arsenal FC transfer news: Torino reject Gunners' £56m offer for Andrea Belotti

Torino have rejected a £56million offer from Arsenal for striker Andrea Belotti, according to reports.

The 23-year-old has been subject to interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs after scoring 17 goals in 21 appearances for club and country this season.

He recently signed a new deal with the Serie A club after excellent form has put him firmly into the national fold.

Arsenal sources tell Sky Sports a bid has not been lodged, but Torino's sporting director Gianluca Petrachi claims otherwise.

He told Sky Italia: "We received and refused a €65m (£56m) offer from Arsenal for Andrea Belotti, but it does not reflect the value of the player.

"Anyway, he is going nowhere for now. We want to enjoy him, then we'll see what happens.

"We intend to keep Belotti and president Urbano Cairo signed this important buy-out clause. I think he's worth more than they have offered."
